F.A.Q's

How long does it take to repair my bag?

Cleaning and repair are different services and turnaround times will vary. Most handbag repairs require approximately 6–20 weeks, depending on the complexity of the work, availability of materials, and current workload. Cleaning-only services are typically completed in less time.

My bag got some dye transfer, can it be removed?

Yes, in many cases. Dye transfer is a common issue, especially on light-colored leather handbags. Our cleaning process is designed to safely reduce or remove transferred dyes while preserving the original finish whenever possible. Because every leather and stain is different, we'll evaluate your handbag and recommend the most appropriate treatment.

Can you replace a ripped liner?

At this time, MBBG does not offer handbag liner replacement. Replacing a liner correctly often requires extensive disassembly of the handbag, specialized sewing equipment, and sourcing materials that closely match the original construction. Rather than compromise the quality of the finished product, we focus on the leather care and restoration services where we can deliver the highest standard of craftsmanship.
